In 1928, General Prax de Miramon acquired the vineyard with his son in law, the Count of La Guéronnière. Now a 4th gen. winemaker, the La Guéronnière family continued to cultivate and care for these over 50-year-old vines. Employing classic vinification & sustainable agriculture, the wines were aged for 18 months, including 12-month ageing in French oak barrels.

AWARDS & RATING: 91pt. Roger Voss (Wine Enthusiast)
Ripe and juicy, this black-fruit-flavored wine is also richly structured. It has a warm feeling from the 80% Merlot in the blend, giving both short-term pleasure and more long-term aging. Drink from 2022. - Roger Voss
